BEGINNING appointed Cami Operé as Vice President, Head of Publicity for AWAL. Operé will complement the company’s marketing and creative team, led by Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer Bianca Bhagat, as well as VPs of Marketing Justin Macchio and Katie Baloian.
Operé was previously vice president of advertising at Sacks & Co., leading advertising efforts for BEGINNING acts including Lizzy McAlpine, Jungle, Bruno Major, Eloise and Ber. Additionally, she has managed press campaigns for a diverse roster of artists including Maren Morris, the Tom Petty Estate, the xx, King Princess, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats, Flume, Aimee Mann and many more.
To date, AWAL’s diverse roster ranges from emerging to world-renowned artists including Little Simz, JVKE, Tom Misch, deadmau5/kx5, Disclosure, JPEGMAFIA, Noname, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Young the Giant, SBTRKT, Jungle, Lizzy McAlpine and more.
